Ở thời điểm hiện tại, Park Hang Seo chính là huấn luyện viên trưởng đội tuyển Việt Nam, ông như một cơn bão mang tới những kỳ tích và cùng các cầu thủ Việt Nam cũng như ban huấn luyện tạo nên câu chuyện cổ tích đời thường với việc dẫn dắt U23 Việt Nam vào chung kết U23 Châu Á. Điều này trước đây chưa từng được thực hiện bởi bất cứ vị huấn luyện viên nào.
HLV Park Hang Seo là ai?
Huấn luyện viên Park Hang Seo sinh ngày 4/1/1959 là một vị huấn luyện viên bóng đá người Hàn Quốc và ông chính thức dẫn dắt đội tuyển Việt Nam từ ngày 11/10/2017. Sự kiện đặc biệt để mọi người biết đến ông là thành tích đưa U23 Việt Nam vào chung kết U23 châu Á, sánh vai với các bạn bè quốc tế trong bộ môn bóng đá.
Trước đó, hầu như không ai biết Park Hang Seo là ai và những gì họ nghĩ có lẽ chỉ là một vị HLV vô danh nào đó. Nhưng người hâm mộ không thể tin rằng, sự xuất hiện của ông đã thay đổi nền bóng đá Việt Nam.

Tại sao lại nói Park Hang Seo Lạng Sơn? Một thông tin vui cho rằng thầy Park quê gốc ở Lạng Sơn, khi mẹ ông mang bầu thì mới đi lấy chồng Hàn và để nhớ về cội nguồn quê hương, mẹ ông đã đặt tên cho ông là Hang Seo.
